Strategic Issues: Food and Agricultural systems

The food and agricultural system that can sustainably feed the world is paramount. That ‘world’ includes people, animals, birds, and other living organisms for a long haul. As such, it should aim to minimise harm to nature so that nature can continue to serve the food system.

Mind-Nature Institute core business actions of research, training and networking aim to result into appropriate policies, legislation, and practices. The intended results include improved adoption or sustenance of agroecological practices that reduce reliance on inorganic inputs, reduce hunger and nutrition deficiencies, improve children's access to healthy and adequate meals, reduce food waste, and ensure food and plant reproductive material (seed) rights and sovereignty for people and nature.
