Strategic Issues: Climate Change Actions

Although our overall working frame is informed by the context of climate change, we continue to specifically compliment climate change mitigation, adaptation, and resilience action through our core pathways of research, training, networking, and partnerships. We are specifically focusing on the ongoing global and national processes about climate change and keeping a close eye on the overall effect on nature.

We are shaping global treaties, conventions, and conferences such as the UNFCCC, the Conference of Parties (COPs), the NDCs, and the Funds and Financing Mechanisms so that nature and people are impacted justly.

We are about supporting consistency and ensuring local action, weaving it into national and global action is not counterproductive to nature and people.
